Mumbai: Horror comedy film ‘Munjya’ has earned Rs 55.75 crore in 10 days of its release. The makers of the film gave this information. ‘Munjya’ is Maddock Films’ latest offering in the world of horror comedy films. This film is based on Marathi folklore.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, the film was released on June 7. It stars Abhay Verma, Sharvari and Mona Singh.
According to a post shared by the production banner on the social media platform ‘X’, by the ninth day of its release, ‘Munjya’ had earned Rs 47 crore at the domestic box office, with a total earning of Rs 55.75 crore on the 10th day with earnings of Rs 8.75 crore.
Maddock Films wrote in the caption with the post, ‘Munjya’ scored a half-century at the box office and it has been possible only because of your love.’
